Early Intervention:

National Therapy Center is proud to offer early intervention services within the DMV area for children ages 0-3 years. Services are delivered to families directly in the child's natural learning environment, such as in homes and daycare centers, and are government funded. We use a family coaching model and guide families and caregivers on how to best foster early development. Parents are an integral part of the process.

While we have many early interventionists who provide general treatment, National Therapy Center has therapists who have advanced training beyond their graduate degrees in specific areas, including the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population, children with feeding challenges, autism spectrum disorders, or those need an alternative communication device. Our therapists work in teams with members of multiple disciplines, allowing them to meet the early needs of each child.

Coverage of Treatment

Additionally, we provide assessments when directed by the early intervention systems to determine whether or not a child meets the criteria to have these services provided at no cost to the family through their county agency.
